I’m constantly amused at the way Musashi looks at me when I wake up at sunrise, a mixture of curiosity and disgust. He is not an early riser. He mostly seems afraid that I’m going to make him go out and sit with me. When I return, he’s in my spot on the bed and looks annoyed that I’m probably going to move him (which I eventually do.) Then he gets back in his bed, buries his face in the fluff to block out the light, and goes to back to sleep in a huff.

It’s nice not being the grumpiest sunriser in the house. :)

This sunrise was captured in Kihei, Maui at 6:15am on the 26th of September, 2022.
