Day 88 • The 23rd of September

🌄 Day 88/365

I didn’t have the greatest week but all it takes is a little moon viewing or standing near the ocean to bring me back around to what’s important. A beacon in the sky, lighting the way forward. Forward and up, I’m always saying, a little motto I’ve carried around in my adult life. This sunrise project has me literally doing just that, regardless of how I feel going into each morning. It cannot be overstated how the metaphor of each sunrise lifts me higher along with it. Like medicine. Like therapy. Like poetry. In one single moment, as the sun works its way over the volcano and higher and higher into the sky, I am reborn along with it.
