🌄 Day 77/365
It’s sort of amazing how fast the sunrise process is. It feels like the sun takes its time moving across the sky towards night but the beginning of its daily journey is over in the blink of an eye. If I look down at my phone for too long I’ll have missed it. It’s interesting how long the days and nights can often feel, when the spaces in between happen at light speed. (Ha.) Perhaps that’s why I have so much reverence for the moments I’ve spent in this in-between space over the last 77 days. A thin place if there ever was one (a concept I learned about in my early 20s that has inspired and carried my art ever since.) I feel lucky to bear witness to this moment every day. Much like the rest of this project, it’s a great metaphor for life.
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” :)
