🌄 Day 64/365
I could do with a cloud or two or five. These gradients are super amazing and I didn’t expect to see anything like them when I started this. I did expect more clouds, but I’m not disappointed yet. (How could I be disappointed in these colors?) This might be a fun lesson in summer morning skies in Maui. Maybe winter is filled with massive, swirling, morning clouds. I remember seeing them… at some point. I think. The annoying part is they fly overhead across the island all day long, moving fast on a tropical wind over and out to sea. Perhaps winter is for clouds? I wouldn’t say it’s stormier (it’s supposed to rain more, but we’ve yet to see much on this side.) My favorite Hawaiian cloud phenomena is how the clouds sort of pass through the island, rather than way up high in the sky. It feels like you can reach out and touch one. And when it does rain, it’s so welcome and refreshing — and then it leaves again, sometimes with rainbows in its wake.
My phone is filled with daytime cloud photos too. I just have no room in my brain for them at the moment.
