It’s hard to say that Venus is merely incidental in this shot, since it’s kind of the star (as a planet.) :) I don’t have a lot of requirements when selecting an image, other than it feeling like a good representation of my time with that day’s sunrise. Sometimes you just gotta let yourself (er, Venus) shine.

This moment was captured in Kihei, Maui at 6:05am on the 17th of August 2022.
