🌄 Day 49/365
Well, this is interesting. Giant pink sun rays shooting out across the sky. What you see is what I could fit in frame, which appears more like greenish blue streaks splashed across a pink color field. These images are always the hardest to edit and finalize. I don’t want to alter anything but I also want to document what I’m actually seeing. It’s a rainbow of colors and both the camera and the editing programs have trouble registering all the different layers of clouds and atmosphere. The human eye is still the best lens we’ve got in this world. It reminds me that although I’m sharing this project daily with the public, it’s also a sacred moment in time for me alone, to experience the event as it happens and let it wash over me, evolving me as a person each time the sun rises up. I feel honored every day just to bear witness.
