🌄 Day 337/365
Since everyone has been asking, I’ve really started pondering what’s next for me after this project ends. The easy and most obvious answer is painting (well, and sleeping in, although my extreme fear of missing out will probably have me running to the window for a while just to make sure there’s not something epic and spectacular happening outside.) I have a lot of in-process paintings on canvas stacked against the walls in my hallway, and at least four large empty canvases, including a giant one. That excites me. I do love an empty canvas. Such unknown possibility on each one! Kind of like a metaphor for the blank space in my future after June 27th, the last official day of sunrises. It’s coming up quick! I’m looking forward to getting my health in order too, something that’s been lacking for almost a year now (I’ve lost about 20 pounds that I enjoyed having. I felt sturdier.) I have numerous doctors appointments that I’ve put off in the last month+ that I just couldn’t deal with while focusing on my mom. All in all, I’m genuinely looking forward to doing something else. Seeing skies like this have been amazing and inspiring but it’s time to move on. My neighbors will be able to move on as well, after that weirdo in her underwear standing on a chair on her balcony with her iPhone pointed to the sky stops showing up too.
