Had a wonderful day yesterday, the first time that’s happened in months. And I ate real food! Very exciting. The exhaustion is starting to creep back in though so time to rest again. If I can. I feel tired but wired. Stress has left me with absolutely no energy but my mind is still racing with everything from moral outrage to regular ol’ anxiety. Been pondering two wonderful pieces of advice I’ve gotten lately. “Nobody knows what it’s like to walk in your shoes” and “the most generous thing you can do for others is to put your own oxygen mask on first.” Wow. Yes. That. It makes the day easier even if I feel drained and weak. Perspective truly is everything.
