Day 30 • The 27th of July

🌄 Day 30/365

Having completed a daily, year-long project before, I knew going into this one that there would be days on end that seemed repetitive and boring. 365 days is … well, it’s a lot of days. Sunrises can’t be expected to look spectacular every morning. That’s a lot of pressure. Yet, unlike the moon, which is highly trackable and predictable, I have no clue what I’m going to find when I wake up each morning. Clouds? Rain? Another exceptionally gorgeous color gradient? I’ll take whatever comes, but that element of surprise makes this project quite a different emotional — and artistic — experience than I’m used to. This time I’m along for the ride, just like everyone else.
