🌄 Day 282/365
Up early again, which is fortunate because that’s when the amazing colors have shown up. They sneak in there for a few minutes before the sun rises higher and blows out all the amazing shades of red and orange and pink.
Already I can tell that I’m going to feel a type of loss when this project ends. It has to end at some point, that’s the purpose behind a year long project, and that’s what makes the experience special. But I know I’m gonna jump awake naturally for a while after, convinced that I’m missing out on something. Checking to see what it looks like, wanting to capture everything.
But I have to move on to something else, explore and examine something new. That’s my job as an artist. It’s always bittersweet to end a project that I’ve invested so much of myself in. It’s going to feel like something is missing when it’s over, for a lot of us, I imagine. (Thank you again for being so supportive and encouraging throughout this process.)
