Well, there was no question I had my photo the moment I stepped outside this morning. The moon and Venus in the same purple and orange sky? That’s the one. I do so love a Cheshire Cat moon. And I love that the moon can appear in the same sky as the rising sun. Watching time and orbits shift in the sky is a beautiful representation of time, which is a major element in this project. It’s not one photo or one moment. A New Dawn is specifically incorporating Time as a medium. The project requires it for completion. 

This moment was captured in Kihei, Maui at 5:57am on the 25th of July, 2022.
