Oof. Almost missed this one because I was staring off into space, or looking at a plant, or… I’m not sure. Fortunately at some point I looked up and this appeared. I guess I’ve been distracted lately. I’m coming to terms with several heavy aspects of my life right now. I definitely have reason to catch myself staring absentmindedly at a plant.
I do feel myself successfully returning to Artist-mode though. I have lots of plans and ideas, things that require full-time attention. That gets a little harder when I have legitimate issues to distract me but I’m trying to pour myself into art. As work, as therapy, as a distraction itself, creating art feels like the smartest (and perhaps healthiest) move I can make right now.
