🌄 Day 238/365
Oooh. Neat. The sky has changed a thousand times in the last half hour. It’s a new day, a new week, which means a new opportunity to do something meaningful with my life. I can’t lie, I’m a bit concerned at what’s in store for us upcoming. The fear of the unknown, I guess. We all prefer the monsters we know. It’s the new ones that feel scary. Everything always works out, I’m told, but I’m a worrier by nature. I wish I wasn’t but I am. I know there’s no purpose in it. It’s an involuntary reaction caused by childhood experiences that scarred me. The trick is not letting it paralyze me. One foot in front of the other, forward motion, heading … somewhere. Destination unknown, for now. In the meantime, I’m grateful for this sky.
This sunrise was captured in Kihei, Maui at 6:51am on the 20th of February, 2023.
