🌄 Day 235/365
I actually really love the rain here, even though it’s almost guaranteed flooding where I live (on a flood plain.) I’m not used to it raining so often! Even our first two years here were a lot dryer than this. It’s cozy. It’s cold. It tends to only rain when I’m working at the bar or doing a bunch of errands though. No sitting home and feeling cozy (yet.) The downside is the flooding, and all the mud, both of which tend to trap you where you are for a few hours until the roads clear up. Not great for running around doing errands. Good for sitting in a cozy bar. I’m just glad the rain jacket I bought two years ago and didn’t wear once until this year is finally getting some use. I’ve never had a rain jacket before. It’s very exciting.
