Ah, rest. Yesterday I had a pretty successful morning. I stayed up after the sunrise, did 40 minutes of yoga, had some tea, showered, headed to work. So proud of myself. At 330am last night, Musashi woke us up and upon finding myself half-clothed in bed with only a vague memory of how I got there, I said to Colin, âSo I guess we had a fun night?â He responded, âIf by âfunâ you mean you fell asleep on the couch at 10pm and I carried you to bed and you got mad at me when I tried helping you into different clothes, yes it was fun.â So THATâS what happens when you get up early and do healthy things. I knew it! By the time I woke up at 330, it had practically been a full nightâs sleep for me so it took a while to fall asleep again. I spent most of the morning before and after sunrise in something closer to a deep meditation than sleep but it was so lovely I didnât want to wake myself out of it. I donât even want to wake up now! It was so peaceful. I could spend all day in that state. So much for yoga two days in a row.
