Today is Musashi’s 10th birthday! Double digits for the little guy. I was never a small-dog person in my life, but I had a small apartment and needed a dog (for my mental health) so I was open-minded. And once we saw him, the littlest pup there and the only puppy that came right up to us, we were in love. He crawled onto Colin’s lap to escape the madness and looked right at us like, “Hi! I’m Musashi! I’m your puppy!” while all the other dogs ran around and barked and played. He could fit in the palms of our hands! And once we met him, we didn’t trust anyone else to have him. He was ours. He’s made me so happy these last 10 years and now I’m obsessed and worry and fuss about him like the helicopter dog-parent I am. He’s our little child. Happy Birthday, buddy. Everybody loves you. 🐶❤️
