🌄 Day 169/365
It’s funny, I got up extra early today, wanting to make sure I wasn’t missing anything, but that special color never materialized. Well, except for these tiny pink clouds. I guess that’s how it goes sometimes. But I was up and outside with Musashi at around 5am and it was magical out. A dream. The air was filled with the scent of plumeria and tangelo trees near my apartment. The half moon was directly overhead. The roosters had begun crowing. The stars were twinkling so much, so brightly and in different colors that for a moment I thought something was wrong with my eyes. Was I tripping? Stars twinkling with gusto in every direction, some in constellations I recognized, some that I didn’t. Twinkling, blinking at me. A rainbow of stars. Nope, not tripping. Just a regular night sky in Maui.
This sunrise was captured in Kihei, Maui at 6:53am on the 13th of December, 2022.
