🌄 Day 134/365
The eclipse last night (this morning) was awesome! I had the perfect view, lying back on my lanai. I kept picturing a straight line, running from the sun to the earth, through me, and on toward the moon. I felt very aligned.
My favorite part about lunar eclipses is the how the shadow brings out the round, orb shape of the moon. Usually it’s a bit bright and flat when looking up but the shadow defines the curvature of the moon differently. It looks closer somehow, like you could reach up and pluck it out of the sky. I was glad I stayed up for this one.
The sunrise today in Kihei, Maui was at 6:31am on the 8th of November, 2022.
