Big week for me. Yesterday I bought “show supplies”, something I haven’t done since 2013. Items like shelves, extension cords, bins for prints, stickers, and small works. This will be the first show I have small original work and stickers available. (I really only switched to small paintings because of the pandemic and the move.) And if you’ve been to any of my shows in the past, you know I like to make the space “pretty.” It’s all about the vibe. Fortunately, I have a beautiful tropical patio to work with right off the bat. Never had that before either. It does much of the work for me! There might be a gecko or six present, checking out the art and the blacklights. I’m quite fine with this.
