Day 101 • The 6th of October

This was one of the hardest sunrises I’ve had to choose from. It shifted and changed colors so dramatically I could have selected 10 photos. But the project calls for one, and it’s up to me to curate the daily experience.

I’m having trouble forming any other thoughts than awe. Just look at those colors. I’m gonna let the sky speak for itself today. I’m just a witness who feels very lucky to have seen it.

This sunrise was captured in Kihei, Maui at 6:18am on the 6th of October, 2022.
