Candy stripe! I adore living here. It’s so unbelievably quiet in the mornings. The traffic sounds do pick up eventually but for a long while it’s just silence, a light tropical breeze, and birds that sing a completely different tune than they did in California. Sometimes if it’s quiet enough and the ocean is roaring loudly enough, I can hear the waves. Who needs meditation apps when I have this? It’s a profoundly grounding experience. Humbling, even. I am so lucky to be here. I’m excited about the person it’s turning me into. 💞
