Stunning. A lovely start to the new week. Went on another hike yesterday and fell asleep shortly after midnight, which to this insomniac is quite a feat. Am I finally changing and growing into that healthy morning person I wish to be? I admire the mornings. I used to be a committed night owl, feeling kinship with the starry night. I still do, but I wish to grow and evolve as I age, and make room for all the different kinds of people I can be. There’s room in my heart and mind for both the darkness of the night and the brightness of day. Sunrises and sunsets really are the thin space in between. The veil is thinner. It is a time when we experience two worlds — what we see with our eyes and what exists just outside our view. Thin spaces are sacred moments in life, and in a very large way, the entire basis for my art.
