🌄 Day 324/365
Good news! My mom is progressing nicely after having a stint placed in her esophagus last weekend, which allows her to eat more and keep food down, and if everything goes well today she should be released tomorrow. Then it’s back on track to continue with cancer treatment. She’s very happy to know she’ll be able to be home. We’re both very happy that she’s finally able to eat better. All good things.
It was hard to choose a sunrise for this morning. There were so many good options that I wanted to wait until later to select one. (Sorry, east-coasters!) Lately I’ve preferred to wait until after my usual daily speakerphone calls with my mom’s doctors and dietitians before selecting one, because often my mood changes. At one moment, for just a couple of minutes, the sky was a fiery red, but it just seems fitting at this point to go with a soft and glorious pink.
Hope you’re having a good day out there.
