🌄 Day 309/365
Weird night. I slept better than usual but woke up with a start right before sunrise. For some reason my alarm, which I checked twice before sleeping, didn’t go off but my brain is so in synch with the rising sun at this point, it somehow snapped me awake at exactly the right moment. Brains are funny like that. Today my mom starts immunotherapy. Gratefully, her cancer hasn’t spread at all and the tumor remains extremely tiny, despite the long delay due to her heart situation. I guess I’m a little nervous? But happy something, anything is starting so we’re not in a holding pattern anymore. The waiting has been an extra layer of nervousness. I wish I could be in both places at once, but it’s probably best that I’m here. Happy thoughts for my mom. ✨🙏
