🌄 Day 308/365
Happy May! My favorite month. *May it be filled with hope and flowers. It’s a new day, a new week, and a new month, all of which are pretty exciting. Here’s hoping we can use them wisely and and contribute something good to the planet. May Day is commonly known out there in the world, but less commonly known is Lei Day, which celebrates Hawaiian culture. Each island has its own color and flower (Maui’s is the pink lokelani, a type of rose) except for Niihau (off the coast of Kauai, populated mostly by Hawaiian-speaking Hawaiians), which is represented by the white puka shell (the only island not represented with a flower.) In any case, whether in the islands or out in the world, I wish you all peace and abundance this month.
