🌄 Day 275/365
This was a looong sunrise today. When it was first light (about 20-30 minutes before the official sunrise) it was quite dark and gloomy. I don’t mind a rainy photo but I know that the sun often pushes the clouds away when the sun is a little higher in the sky. I waited a long time today. The clouds were thick. At some point after sunrise (I wait before and after) I realized this was the best I was going to get today. If I waited much longer it would be mid morning. That’s just how it goes sometimes.
Periodic update on my mom: cancer treatments are being postponed a bit until her heart is stronger. Her medical team all agrees on this, based on the confidence that the tumor is slow-growing and they want to be a bit more sure about it, all things considered, before starting in with treatment. So while it’s taking much longer to get going than we initially anticipated, it’s the best decision that can be made given the circumstances.
Again, we wait. Perhaps that’s my theme for the week. Patience in waiting.
