It is super windy out there. I was expecting to see a building fly past. Huge gusts come up out of nowhere, taking tree branches and patio furniture with it. From inside it sounds like a train approaching. We had to close the windows and turn a loud fan on, so that the sudden gusts don’t scare Musashi (who’s cuddled up on his blanket in the tiny space between the bed and my nightstand as I write this.) It’s hard to explain wind to a dog. No rain, or storms. Just wind. And things crashing into the outside walls. Pretty sky though!

This sunrise was captured in Kihei, Maui at 6:58am on the 9th of February, 2023.
