🌄 Day 201/365
This has really been a beautiful few days, not just because of the amazing sunrise photos I’m getting, although, whoa, look at that. There’s also whales in the distance (I just saw a baby tail and I’m really excited) and turtles bobbing around. I had a wonderful birthday. Thank you to everyone who made it special. I have definitely been feeling happier than I have … well, in years, honestly. Maybe the happiest I’ve been? It’s hard to say. We experience a lot of happy things in life, a lot of sad things too, and at the moment I’m in a happy place. Not just Maui, which is certainly a reason to be happy, but internally too. I guess I just finally feel at peace with where I am. Moving here was absolutely the right decision, and we knew it would be for 16 years. I’m glad we didn’t wait even one more day.
