We’ve been sleeping with the window open again, as opposed to with the windows closed and the a/c fan turned on (set to like 80 degrees, we use it more like a fan for the noise. It keeps the bedroom a nice soundproof bubble so Musashi isn’t listening -and reacting- to the sounds he hears outside all night.) But it’s so lovely and chilly out right now. I like to leave the windows open, to feel that fresh cool breeze and hear the morning sounds (mostly birds) increase with the light. Musashi-sounds increase too, as he listens to everyone waking up and starting their days. It was one of my favorite sounds when I was just a frequent visitor. Now it’s my morning, every morning. I don’t take it for granted. It’s bliss.
