Yesterday I started to worry that all sunrises for a period of time (a season maybe?) would be pale and washed out in color. The last week has seen different, more faded skies than I’ve come to know here. Maybe they will? I really have no idea what to expect, and the unknowingness of what I’ll find each day is directly connected to the “art” of the project. Capturing something unpredictable and wily in a photo. A moment. Maybe it will rain for three months. I have no idea. But that same mystery is what makes this project great. Getting up to a surprise every day and documenting it no matter the scenery is what I’ve set out to do. I still have a long way to go before this is completed so I appreciate the variance we’ll see as the days pass by. The mystery is the point.
